Submission Guidelines for Viral Cat's Literary Alley

Viral Cat considers poetry, fiction, artwork, videos, music, and screenplay excerpts for its Literary Alley on a rolling basis. These don't have to be cat-themed. Our next issue will go live on the site January 2018. Different works will be featured on our home page on a rotating basis throughout the year.

We do not contact you if your work has not been accepted due to the volume of submissions.

Please email all submissions to: [email protected]

Poetry: Submit two to five poems. Simultaneous submissions are welcome.

Flash Fiction: Submit up to three pieces. Each piece should be under 1000 words. Please send us your flash fiction as an attached document in .doc format.

Artwork / Photography: Submit up to five pieces, jpeg format.
Videos / Music:  Submit up to three works. We're looking for short films, experimental films, comedies, movie trailers, music videos, music links, or music files.

Screenplays / Plays / Radio Plays: Submit up to ten pages of a feature length screenplay as a pdf file. Include a logline and a synopsis. Shorter works are also welcome. It is your responsibility to register your feature length screenplay with either the Writer's Guild of America or the Copyright Registrar's Office. If someone reads your excerpt and is interested in seeing more, we'll gladly redirect the interested party to your email.
